Hello my Fellow Sisters and Brothers in Christ
Numbers 21:6-9 says
Then the Lord sent fiery (burning) serpents among the people; and they bit the people, and many Israelites died. The people came to Moses, and said,”We have sinned , for we have spoken against the Lord and against you; pray to the Lord, so that He will remove the sepernts from us.” So Moses prayed for the people. Then the Lord said to Moses,” Make a fiery serpent [bronze] and set it on pole; and everyone who is bitten will live when he looks at it.”So Moses made a serpent of bronze and put it on pole, and it happened that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he looked to the bronze serpent, he lived.
The Israelites were saved when they looked at the snake on the pole when they were being bitten by venomous snakes. Similarly when we look up at Jesus the sinful nature is depleted from our lives. The power in the name of Jesus, the power in the blood of Jesus destroys the power of sin nature and death that tries to overwhelm us. As you explore this space, you will be encouraged to keep your undistracted, undivided focus on Jesus Christ, the author and the finisher of your faith. You will read about the life-changing Word of Jesus Christ. You will be motivated and inspired to have a deeper and more intimate relationship with Jesus Christ.
